Furthermore, students are introduced to general basics of genetics, cell cycle including mitosis and meiosis, as well as organisation of the genome.
Practical course: Important notice
- The laboratory course in Cell Biology will take place in the Laboratory of Histology (Room 051.1, ground floor, corridor opposite to the seminar rooms).
- Note that a lab coat has to be put on as soon as entering the laboratory and that no food or beverages are allowed in the laboratory.
- You will need a notebook, white unlined drawing paper, a pencil of medium hardness for drawing and labelling microscope slides, a permanent marker ("edding") for labelling plastic ware, and a ruler.
