The exchange program
Students can take part in an exchange with the Department of Applied Sciences that will lead -
following two successfull semester of study - to an Bachelor of Honours Degree. A stay for just one semester is also possible. The curriculum offered during this exchange is highly interdisciplinary and allows students to explore subjects as diverse as fermentation microbiology, forensic toxicology, clinical nutrition or reproductive biology.
The degree
A double degree: BSc (Hons) in Applied Biology is possible for a successful stay of two semesters.
To qualify for the exchange program with London South Bank University you have to ...have passed all modules and courses of the first and second semester successfully and have passed our English courses or were considered fluent enough to choose a different language. The final admission is based on your performance during the 3rd and 4th semester!
University Facts
London South Bank University has its origins in the Borough Polytechnic Institute, established on its present site in 1892. The main campus is located in the heart of London just a short walk from many of the major landmarks - Waterloo and London Bridge are some of the nearest tube stations! Only recently LSBU has invested heavily in new equipment therefore providing students with great facilities and an excellent working area.
