The exchange program
Students can visit the Jagiellonian University for one or two semesters. Courses taken are part of an English-language program designed by the Faculty for Biotechnology for international exchange students. During a two semester stay, students will do their practical training and the bachelor thesis in a research laboratory of UJ.
The degree
A double degree is not possible.
To qualify for the exchange program with you have to ...have passed all modules and courses of the first and second semester successfully.

The Jagiellonian University (UJ) was the second in Europe and is very proud of this status. Your lectures and courses will be take place in a brand-new building with high standard, modern laboratories and internationally well-known professors and research-groups. There is plenty of support and offers for additional schools and conferences. students in four universities and 3000 bars, cafés, restaurants, pubs and jazzbars you will understand why it is the dream of many young people in Poland to be accepted in one of the universities of Krakow. Also Krakow accounts for the cultural-capital and you cannot find more art-, music-, movie festivals or exhibitions anywhere. Not mentioning the uncountable museums and galleries. For us, another striking argument to come here is the financial point of view. Everything is considerably cheap and still does not lack good quality. Usually it is cheaper to eat out in one of the dozens student restaurants, than to cook for yourself at home.

Things to consider
- There are no tuition fees and ERASMUS-funding is possible.
- The university will admit up to 4 students.
- Language of instruction is English. Polish language courses are offered by the university.
